Job Overview:
While working closely with members of the technical team, you will design and implement software products and proof of concepts. You will use modern tools and programming languages to help you accomplish your tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software applications and subsystems
  • Production level code
  • Proof of concept code
  • Perform technical research and provide recommendations
  • Help in identifying new product ideas
  • Attend code and design reviews
  • Help drive the technical direction of the engineering group in the following areas:
  • Coding standards and guidelines
  • Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Provide assistance to other engineers in a constructive manner that will promote productivity
REQUIREMENTS

The following are the mandatory requirements. The candidate must:

  • MUST be a US citizen or have unrestricted and continuing employment authorization in the US.
  • Have a BS or MS in CS, CE, or EE
  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience
  • At least 3 years of Android development
  • Development of UI
  • Experience with more advanced Android APIs such as services NDK
  • Knowledge of C++
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated. Must be able to anticipate problems, spot opportunities and take a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Be motivated to continue to learn new skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to facilitate working within a team and with the customer.

One or more of the following additional skills are highly desired:

  • Experience with iPhone development is a plus
  • Experience with AWS is a plus
