At the GENIVI CES2014 Demonstration Showcase & Reception, Abalta Technologies will demonstrate its WEBLINK software running on the Tizen In-Vehicle Infotainment operating system, a project governed by a Technical Steering Group composed of Intel and others.

WEBLINK enables smartphones to operate as the primary in-vehicle computing device in connected cars, so car manufacturers can cost-effectively provide customers with an up-to-date and customized in-vehicle app experience from any smartphone in a safe and seamless way. It does so through leveraging any constantly-updated smartphone browser, allowing manufacturers to stay current and eliminating the need to add and maintain a web browser on the vehicle head unit.
